Palm kernel shell biochar, sustainable export product from Nigeria

Our Story

About Us

Building Africa's leading biochar export operation through quality, sustainability, and trusted partnerships.

Company Story

Rooted in Nigeria, Reaching the World

We are a Nigerian exporter specializing in Palm Kernel Shell biochar, a renewable, carbon-negative product used in industrial fuel substitution, soil enrichment, and carbon sequestration projects. Our biochar offers high calorific value, low ash content, and proven sustainability benefits. We currently supply to Europe and are expanding into the Middle East and Asia, partnering with companies that value clean energy and sustainable agriculture. With reliable supply chains and competitive pricing, we are committed to powering industry while sustaining nature.

Palm kernel shell biochar is a carbon-rich material produced through pyrolysis of palm kernel shells, offering high stability in soil, excellent carbon sequestration potential, and improved water and nutrient retention, making it valuable for agriculture and climate mitigation.

Our Vision

To be Africa's leading provider of renewable biochar solutions, driving sustainable energy and agriculture worldwide.

Our Mission

Deliver high-quality palm kernel shell biochar that supports industrial fuel substitution, soil enrichment, and global carbon reduction initiatives.

Production Process

From Palm Oil Waste to Export-Grade Biochar

Our production follows a controlled pyrolysis process, converting agricultural byproducts into high-value biochar for global markets.

01

Collection

Palm kernel shells collected as waste from palm oil mills across Nigeria's agricultural regions.

02

Drying

Moisture is reduced to prepare the shells for controlled pyrolysis processing.

03

Pyrolysis

Shells are heated at 400–600°C in a low-oxygen environment, converting biomass into carbon-rich biochar.

04

Biochar Formation

Carbon-rich, porous material is produced with high stability and enhanced surface properties.

05

Cooling & Storage

Biochar is stabilized, moisture-proof packaged, and stored for export to international partners.

Sustainability

Carbon-Negative Impact

Palm kernel shell biochar is inherently carbon-negative. Through the pyrolysis process, carbon that would otherwise return to the atmosphere as CO₂ is stabilized in a durable solid form, sequestering carbon for centuries.

This makes our product eligible for carbon credit programs and supports our partners' sustainability reporting and regulatory compliance goals. Every shipment contributes to global carbon reduction initiatives while providing a practical, high-performance fuel and soil amendment.

Environmental Impact

Sustainable Approach and Safe Use of Biochar

Our biochar production follows a cost-effective, energy-saving process that converts agricultural biomass into a versatile material with wide-ranging environmental benefits.

  • Soil pH & CEC Improvement

Increases soil pH and cation exchange capacity, improving nutrient availability and soil chemistry.

  • Organic Matter Addition

Adds stable organic matter to depleted soils, supporting long-term fertility and microbial activity.

  • Nutrient Management

Helps manage (NH₄)₂SO₄ leachate and supports nitrogen fertilizer efficiency in agricultural systems.

  • Environmental Remediation

Supports remediation of contaminated sites including mine tailings and rare earth element (REE) recovery projects.
